Sports and Fitness Activities
Physical activities and sports help programs are important in child development and psychological stability. One of the most anticipated events in any school is the Sports Day.
Sports Day:
The students engage in races, relays, high jump, long jump and team games. These are activities that train discipline, teamwork and determination.
Inter-house matches:
Intra-house competitions develop good competition and teamwork. Sports such as football, basketball, cricket, badminton and volleyball are taken up by the students.
Yoga Day:
Yoga Day presents students to being relaxed with their minds. Schools arrange classes in yoga, during which the instructors teach the students some basic postures, breathing and meditation.
Fitness Week:
Fitness Week will encourage healthy habits by undertaking exercises like aerobics, stretching, skipping challenges and fitness quizzes.
Swimming and skating events:
Swimming and skating activities provide students with an opportunity to know how to balance and be coordinated and confident.
